READIBILITY OF THE VISUAL FORM - Manifesto
Readibility of the visual form is a project where the readability of one or more texts is called into question by following a whole system of rules. The graphic approach consists of a constant break in the rules of text construction and this is supported with images of digitally "broken" vehicles resulting in a kind of visual catalogue.
Having this in mind, the final object results in a small scale catalogue where it´s content regards the text of 2 design manifestos ( Icograda Manifesto 2001 and 2011 ) plus a third one which is a interview given by David Carson with the topic of design and discovery.
This is an attempt of breaking the rules in text formatting giving it a huge space to go beyond the expected and simply discover new things.
This catalogue is an academic project developed for a manifesto module during the 2nd year of Communication Design in ESAD Matosinhos taking part in the class of Digital Lab.
